The Minister of Labor and Employment has attributed the “increase” in employment rates and opportunities to a number of schemes and other programs launched by the Union Government under various Ministries and Departments.
“Various plans and programs are run by the government under different ministries,” the minister said during Question Time.
He listed some of these programs including “Make in India”, Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation, National Smart Cities Mission, PM Awas Yojna, PM Gati Shakti, Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan.
If we match these programs, the PLFS, the labor office survey and the EPFO payroll, then satisfactory and appropriate programs have been put in place by the government,” he added.

The Department of Labor has also begun conducting a survey in nine major sectors, including manufacturing, information technology, education and hospitality, and survey results show “a sharp increase” in the rate. job, he said.
