BAKOU, Azerbaijan, December 22
A memorandum of understanding has been concluded between the National Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and Azerconnect Company, one of the largest employers in the ICT market.
The document was signed by Mustafa Abbasbayli, chairman of the board of the National Employment Agency, and Emil Masimov, general manager of Azerconnect.
Under the terms of the memorandum, the parties will cooperate on the areas of activity of the Agency and projects of mutual interest. The Agency will partner with Azerconnect to provide career guidance, vocational training, improvement of knowledge and skills of unemployed and job seekers in line with labor market requirements.
The document envisages the preparation of proposals for the development of corporate social relations, the support of Azerconnect for the employment of members of the families of martyrs and veterans of the patriotic war within the framework of the âJob Marathonâ , and the implementation of relevant activities, joint innovative projects, events, forums.
The protocol also provides for the implementation of various incentives, including the implementation of programs and projects by the Agency to stimulate interest in additional job vacancies and the creation of social enterprises for people with disabilities. special social protection needs and difficulties in finding employment. In addition, it is considering further assistance from Azerconnect to support and develop the activities of those involved in active employment programs, provide internship opportunities with the company, and assistance in providing relevant jobs to those engaged in a professional training.
